INSD Bhilai in the color of Christmas and New Year
Christmas is coming in few days but INSD Bhilai celebrated it earlier and decorate the whole campus based on Christmas theme. Christmas is not an Indian festival but it is celebrated in across India. Currently, every educational institute celebrates every small festival. Since, the Christmas and New Year come along and people enjoy both with joy and happiness. According to true facts, Christmas is also a cultural and religious festival of the Christian in the different countries. Due to the social-cultural development, the non-Christian also celebrates it. In the Christmas, all churches are decorated. The “holiday” or “Mid-winter” are some other names of the Christmas as it is celebrated on 25 December and after 6 days New Year comes. Thus, holiday fest starts from the 25 December and ends in the first week of January. To enjoy the color of Christmas and New Year, the INSD Bhilai gave the same thing to t he INSD Fashion and Interior designing students.
The red, gold, and green are the traditional colors of the Christmas and each color has some meaning. The red represents the blood of Jesus, gold represents the royalty, and the green represents the eternal life. In addition, white is also another color of the Christmas festival.
Students of both streams need to decorate the whole campus according to this color. Students of interior designing stream presented the birth of god Jesus in their decoration. They used the multiple decorative items for this. Santa Claus or Father Christmas is also a part of the Christmas festival who brings gifts in the Christmas evening and give it to the children. So, the students of fashion designing stream need to wrap all dummies according to the Santa Claus. Students exhibit their learned skills during the last month of studies on the decoration of the dummies. When the students finished all decorations then it feels that different Santa Claus came to our institute for giving gifts to them. Now see the following pics of their efforts…
