Every organization and institute celebrates the Diwali in his or her working place. Diwali is one of the most popular festivals in India. The educational institute celebrates Diwali with their students and organizes “Diwali celebration”. Diwali is the festival of lights and colors that comes once in a year. The organization, educational institute, and people give gifts to their employees, teachers, and relatives respectively in Diwali. The major purpose of exchanging gifts is only to increase the bonding between them. The management of the INSD Bhilai also gave the gifts to their faculties.
The colleges and institutes organize the different types of competitions to celebrate Diwali for their students. Rangoli, Gifts, Aarti that, and Mehandi are all part of the Diwali celebration. All these are the traditions of the Diwali so follow the traditions of this, the INSD Bhilai organized Rangoli, Gift packing, Mehandi, and designing of Aarti thal for their fashion and interior-designing students. These competitions encourage students to enhance their skills. Competitions on the festivals help students to understand the importance of the particular festivals and reasons for the celebrations.
Almost every student participated in competition according to his or her skill and interest. Students designed beautiful Rangoli including Sanskar Bharti, freestyle, and scenery using so many colors. Students use their creativity for the gift packing competitions and pack the gifts. In Mehandi competition, students make Mehandi in their hands whereas, in the competition of the designing of Aarti thali, students designed different types of Aarti thali. Students used new items like plastic spoons, wool, to decorate the Aarti thali. Students enjoyed every competition and celebrated diwali by participating in it.
